Green Initiatives

At Grenville, we’ve made a commitment to continually work toward lessening our impact on the environment:

• StrongDoc™, our service for distributing sensitive information securely, lets customers control the life cycle of a document without ever having to output a hard copy.
• Print on demand means you use only what you need, rather than warehousing and stockpiling large quantities of printed material – so there’s much less wasted paper and fewer resources required to store it.
• When Grenville does consume paper, a donation is made for tree planting, equivalent to how much we’ve used.
• All paper purchased by Grenville has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council ®, supporting responsible forestry practices.
• As an organization, Grenville recycles and reduces waste. Faxes sent to us are converted automatically to e-mails. Administrative information – such as expense reports, invoices and pay stubs – is generated electronically. In our retail outlets, all used toner is recycled. And offset printing is always done with vegetable-based inks.

Being “green” isn’t just a short-term initiative at Grenville; it’s the way we do business.
